A wholehearted fall retreat
Mora, 5-8 Nov 2026
The Retreat
Welcome to A wholehearted fall retreat — 4 days to move with joy, nourish the soul, cultivate meaningful connections, and transition into a quieter, more restful season. Expect daily yoga, breathwork and meditation, along with sauna, cold plunges, walks in nature, guided introspection, and plenty of time to just be in stillness. Not to mention, delicious food and daily fika made by our private chef.
Let's be honest, November can be a little depressing — as the temperature drops, the days grow darker, summer feels like a distant memory, yet the holiday season seems too far away. Let's gather to fill our cups to the brim, embrace our true selves, and plant a seed for a more wholehearted way of living. The only thing you have to do is to relax and enjoy — everything will be taken care of.

The retreat will take place at the beautiful Sandsgården, a traditional Dala homestead in Gopshus, a charming village just outside Mora in Dalarna — a region renowned for its rich heritage and often described as the cultural heart of Sweden. Surrounded by mountains and breathtaking nature, it is the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
Fun fact: The trail used for Vasaloppet, the world’s largest long-distance cross-country ski race, runs right through the property.
Your Host
Madeleine, aka Majsan, is a yoga teacher, life coach and facilitator from Stockholm. Yoga has been a part of her life since her late teens, and her practice has taken many shapes and forms over the years. With 5 years of teaching experience and 600 hours of yoga training, she is constantly learning and evolving, both as a student and a teacher of yoga.
Her signature classes are dynamic and playful, and draw influences from various styles of yoga such as Jivamukti and Katonah yoga®, often with a touch of breathwork and meditation. She is passionate about guiding people toward joyful and wholehearted experiences — on and off the mat.
The components for a typical Majsan retreat include yoga, nature, nourishing food, sauna, cold plunges and guided introspection. Her wish is for guests to leave the retreat not only feeling grounded and filled with joy — but also with deeper clarity and new insights.

“A truly magical retreat nestled in the Swedish countryside. I felt so taken care of and held, with every need satisfied for a weekend of autumnal reflection and spiritual rejuvenation. Sauna, cold plunge, forest walks, and the best farm to table meals you could dream of. [...]”

“This was my first yoga retreat and WOW what a wonderful experience. Majsan made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. [...] I have done yoga for many years and Majsan is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever encountered.
